ALAC have impacted people’s lives in variouse ways here are some of it archivements
2020
Neglect and Domestic Violence
the ALAC received a complaint of neglect and domestic violence, free legal advice was offer to the complainer and thereafter the complainer was referred to International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). After consultation with both parties involved, the marriage was dissolved in adherent to their request.
2019
Corruption Within a Procurement Process of a government
ALAC received a complaint of an alleged corruption within a procurement process of a government institution, the report was forwarded to the relevant authorities and currently the matter is in court.
Also, the ALAC received a report on alleged financial corruption involving a tertiary institution in the country, the report was forwarded to relevant anti-corruption institution, currently the matter is in court and the suspect has been suspended from office.
2018
Military Administrative Issue
ALAC received a report on administrative issue within the Nigeria Military, the ALAC reached out to the Nigeria Military with the complaint and it was resolved less than a year.
2017
Police Officer Compensation
A serving Nigeria Police Officer came to the ALAC in 2017 with a report that the Nigeria Police Force is yet to compensation him despite his contribution to the Police Insurance Scheme after he was involved in an accident while on duty, upon further discussions the ALAC discover that complainer was unaware of the procedure or channels through which he receive his compensations and with the approval of the client, the Nigeria Police Force was contacted and necessary information concerning the procedure were provided to the client to enable pursue his compensation
