OUR STORY
CISLAC promote the adoption and implementation of health related legal frameworks and policies as well as Gender and social inclusion at the national and state levels. CISLAC advocates for the effective implementation of the national Primary Health Care (PHC) under one roof program in selected Northern states. CISLAC advocates for the sustainability in the implementation of the 1% consolidated revenue fund (in the NHA) and improving health financing at the federal and state level. CISLAC advocates for improved public spending and implementation of National Multi-Sectoral Plan of Action for Food and Nutrition (NMPFAN) 2021-2025” in order to improve nutrition financing in Nigeria.
CISLAC supports legislators to perform effective oversight on health sector accountability and consideration of national and state annual audit reports to reduce corruption in the health sector. CISLAC promotes the implementation and monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs and other relevant stakeholders. CISLAC promotes gender equality and equity and the inclusion of vulnerable groups in social protection programme.
